Bodoland Homestay Initiative Apply Now: The Tourism Department of BTR Govt has launch Bodoland homestay initiative 2024. The aim of this initiative done is to boost the community based Tourism by supporting locals in setting up a cluster based homestay for the tourists visiting the park.
The residents of fringe villages surrounding Raimona National Park in Kokrajhar’s western range are eligible to apply and is being encouraged to participate in homestay initiatives, fostering community involvement and boosting tourism in the Bodoland region.

Homestay in Raimona National Park
Although homestay facilities at National Park Raimona are still in development, the BTC government has taken proactive steps and launch an application for the resident of the village under area of Raimona National Park to enhance tourist infrastructure, ensuring a future of welcoming and comfortable accommodations for visitors.
Till date, we have come accross only two Homestay facilities at Raimona National Park. With the BTR govt’s Bodoland Homestay Initiative, the number of Homestay may increase.

Bodoland Homestay Initiative
Bodoland homestay Initiative is a Scheme launched by the Tourism Department of BTC Govt to create Homestay in the village under western range of the Raimona National Park for the visitors or tourist. This scheme supports both local growth and tourist department benefiting both the community and the economy.
Eligibility
- The Applicant should be the Resident of western Range under the Raimona National Park, Kokrajhar.
How to Apply Bodoland Homestay Initiative?
The exact apply process in not mentioned on the advertisement published on the Bodosa newspaper. The interested applicant may contact Director cum CHD (Incharge) of Bodoland Tourism, BTC Govt.
Note: The Last date of receipt of application is on 5th October 2024, and it should submitted to the Director Cum CHD, tourism department, BTC, Kokrajhar.
