Updated EM List of BTC 2024: In the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), there are 17 Executive Members (EMs). These include a Chief Executive Member (CEM), a Deputy Chief, and the remaining 15 are Executive Members.

Removal of BTC EM
The two EM are removed from their position. The Governor of Assam has removed them.
- Ghanashyam Das, Gana Suraksha Party, MCLA and EM
– Removed on 6 April 2024. - Reo Reoa Narzihary, BJP, MCLA and EM
– Removed on 28 Aug 2024.
Addition of BTC EM
The Assam governor on 4 Dec 2024, approved the MCLAs of BTC for nomination as the Executive Member of the Executive Council of BTCLA, according to order no. GSA.67/2024/15. Check out the table below to know more.

BTR EMs District Wise
Below, we have listed out the BTR EM List of all the four districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Before the BTC election 2025, there are chances of increasing the number of BTC constituency. Currently, there are 40 in 4 districts, it may increase to 60 or may remain same 40. In that case, there will be re-classification of the constituency for the new Tamulpur district of BTR.
Tamulpur district was recently added to BTR after the delimitation process, which means there is currently no elected representative assigned to it. The BTR area consists of five districts and they are:

EM of Kokrajhar District
Earlier, there are four Executive Members from Kokrajhar district of BTR area but now only three after the removal of MCLA Reo Reoa Narzihary from the post of EM.
- Ukil Mushahary: Water Resources, Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Co-operation, Welfare of SCs Department
- Arup Kumar Dey: Health & Family Welfare, Registration of Birth & Death, Welfare of OBCs Department
- Wilson Hasda: Urban Development, SEED & IT Department
EM of Chirang District
There are two Executive Members from Chirang district of BTR region.
- Ranjit Basumatary: Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Land & Revenue, Minority Affairs Department
- Dhananjay Basumatary: Handloom & Textiles, Food Processing Department
EM of Baksa District
There are five Executive Members from Baksa district of the BTR Assam.
- Pramod Boro (BTR CEM): PWD, Finance, Education, Renewable Energy Department
- Gautam Das: Social Welfare, Mental Health and Happiness, BTCLA Affairs, MSME Department
- Rakesh Brahma: Fishery, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Dairy Development Department
- Dharma Narayan Das: Tourism, Social Justice & Empowerment, Border Area Development
- Ranendra Narzary: Transport, Lotteries, Road Safety, Traditonal Skill Development
EM of Udalguri District
There are five Executive Members from Udalguri district of BTR.
- Gobinda Chandra Basumatary (Deputy Chief): P&RD, Soil conservation, Tribal Research Institute, Relief and Rehabilitation, and Excise Department
- Nilut Swargiary: PHE, Library Services,Information & Public Relation, Indigenous Faith Department
- Diganta Baruah: Irrigation, Museum & Archaneology, Ayush Department
- Daobaisa Boro: Sericulture, Sports & Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs, Promotion of Indigenous Sports Department
- Sanjib Tanti: Welfare of Tea Tribes, Labour & Employment, Economic & Statistics, Science & Technology Department

News Related EMs BTC
1. Ghanashyam Das
Ghanashyam Das is a politician from GSP party. He is an MCLA of BTC government and ex-Executive Member. He was dropped from EM post on 6 April 2024 before the Lok Sabha 2024 Election.
2. Reo Reoa Narzihary
Reo Reoa Narzihary is a politician from BJP party. He is an MCLA of BTC government and ex-Executive Member. He was removed from EM post on 28 Aug 2024.
He contested BTC election 2020 from Jamduar constituency in Kokrajhar district from the BPF Party, won and was elected MCLA. But he switched to the BJP party while forming the BTR govt, he was given the EM post.
Due to controversy surrounding his media statement published on various social media platforms like Facebook against his own coalition govt in Power, he was removed from his EM post.
Later MCLA Reo Reoa Narzihary regretted his remarks and apologize through public platform Facebook.
The replacement of these two Executive Members is not publicly announced yet nor updated on the official website of the BTR govt.btc em list
