ITI-Ability Program For Person With Disabilities: The Govt of BTR has launched an ITI-Ability Program initiative for person with disabilities to provide inclusive skill development opportunities and one-year vocational training for 100 youth with disabilities, aiming to improve their job opportunities and overall livelihood.
The application process starts on the 4th of November, 2024. People with 40% and above disabilities can apply for the ITI-Ability Program.

ITI-Ability Program For Person With Disabilities
The BTR Govt has released an application regarding the ITI-Ability Program for people with disabilities. The main aim of this program is to provide opportunities for skill development and also to provide one-year vocational training in six trades ( Copa, Multi-Media, Secretarial Practices, Basic Cosmetology, Sewing Technology and bamboo works) for 100 youth with disabilities in BTR, enhancing their future employment prospects.

Courses with Eligibility Criteria in ITI-Ability Program
The Courses for the program ITI- Ability with its respective eligibility criteria is given below
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)- 10th pass
- Multi-Media – 10th pass
- Secretarial Practice – 10th pass
- Basic Cosmetology – 10th pass
- Sewing Technology – 10th pass
- Bamboo Works – 10th pass
Application Fee
The ITI-Ability Program will cover all necessary expenses, including course fees and a monthly stipend for eligible students.
Who can Apply ITI-Ability Program for Person With Disabilities
People who can apply for the ITI-Ability Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must have a disability percentage of 40% or higher.
- The applicant’s age must be between 14 and 35 years.
- The applicant must be a resident of one of the following five districts in BTR: Kokrajhar, Chirang, Udalguri, Baksa, and Tamulpur.

To apply the ITI-Ability Program to enhance skill development for youths with disabilities in BTR, follow the steps given below.

- Register yourself if you haven’t register.
- Login with with your user name and password.
- Required documents are to be uploaded as asked.
- Accept the agreement and submit the application.
- Download the acknowledgement receipt.
