The Karigaon will get a transforming look as the BTR govt has laid the foundation stone of the Karigaon Welcome Gate on 5 July 2024. The construction work will begin soon as the last date of tender was closed on 31 March 2024.
Karigaon Welcome Gate Design and Looks
The preliminary design for the Karigaon Entry Gate was shared by BTR government officials.
The welcome gate is designed with a length of over 50 feet and a height of 57.5 feet, according to the design sample provided by the officials.
Foundation Stone
The foundation stone of Karigaon welcome gate was inaugurated by the BTR CEM Pramod Boro on 5 July 2024 in the august presence of BTR Deputy chief, MLA, and other government officials.

The construction cost of the Karigaon gate is 1.81 Crore, as per the tender issued by the BTR government through the Public Works Department (PWD), as mentioned on various online portals.
