About Udalguri
Udalguri district, also known as Odalguri, is a part of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam. The district headquarter is in Udalguri town.
Prior to the establishment of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in 2003, Udalguri was a sub-division of the former Darang district.
On 20 October 2003, the government declared Udalguri as a separate district, and it officially became as a district on 14 June 2004.
